Day One - Ho Chi Minh City - Day Session

Tuesday 01 November 2016

sunny 27 °C

Flew into Ho Chi Minh City Airport at the crack of dawn on Tuesday Morning after the Flight from London. Flew into an absolute pea souper and 24deg cel at 5:30am. After disembarking and collecting our bags we met up with our transfer guy and made the trip into the city center.

My first impressions of Ho Chi Minh traffic is one of disbelief. How there are not more accidents here, I will never know. The flow of traffic seemed to know exactly what to do when. If you're born into this way of life then it's probably a normal day's commute. I was impressed that everyone was wearing a helmet here and riding a scooter with 2-3 people attached to it seemed to be the norm. What a way to be introduced to Ho Chi Minh city @ peak hour. See pics below.

Got to the hotel to find we had to wait 2 hours, so decided to take in the buffet breakfast and the passing crowd. Nice hotel room when we finally got to it
